How to control the temperature of plastic processing molds?
2024/05/23
1. When designing a plastic processing mold, it is necessary to control the temperature of the mold product. When the designed mold injection weight is small and the mold size is large, the heat transfer in the mold structure is very important. The flow path of the mold coolant should be stable, and try not to use quick connectors, otherwise the flow of the mold coolant may be blocked.
2. Select the appropriate mold temperature controller and the data sheet to display the cooling medium flow, use the cavity plate forming machine between the insulation material and the mold, use different core and cavity temperature control systems, and use different temperature control systems. The cavity and core of the mold, so when the mold is running, will produce different cooling temperatures.
3. The parts of the plastic processing mold that need to be cooled and cooled are arranged with circulating water pipes to cool down. Resistance heating and cooling water circulation need to work alternately according to the specific temperature conditions of the mold, so that the temperature of the mold is controlled within the temperature range required by the process.
4. The actual temperature of the mold surface in contact with the plastic can be measured with a thermocouple in the mold, or with a commonly used hand-held thermometer. The thermometer's surface probe must respond quickly and simultaneously measure mold temperature at multiple locations, rather than one location on each surface. The temperature control system is then modified to adjust the plastic processing mold temperature to the desired level.
